While Travaras Battle has yet to receive an official scholarship offer, schools such as TCU, Baylor, LSU, and Texas are showing him plenty of interest. Battle is not returning the interest equally however, and Baylor is among his favorites. He talks about what makes Baylor stand out in his mind.
"Education and athletic opportunities and the greeting they gave me when I walked in. They showed me a lot of respect."
Battle has also expressed interest in TCU and Texas. In situations such as this, campus visits often make the difference and Baylor looks to have made all the right moves during his trip.
"They impressed me and they impressed my parents. Thats the most important thing. They showed showed me what I really wanted to see. Football is what I love to do but education is more important and they really showed me what it is to graduate from Baylor University."
For now at least, Baylor looks to be a major player in Battle's recruitment and should factor heavily into hiss decision which he plans to make this summer.
