To get to this point with Midlothian wide receiver Eddie Johnson, Baylor has stood out in a list that includes Arizona, Missouri, SMU, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Texas. And while Johnson plans to attend camps at Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Nebraska, and Kansas this summer, his recent visit to Waco to see the Bears practice left him seeing green and gold.
"The coaches there are really cool. I got to go to a practice just the other day and just the way the coaches and players interact was really cool. I asked a lot of questions on how things are down there and I liked it a lot."
Johnson also attended Baylor's annual Junior Day and came away with good feelings about the school.
"It was pretty nice. It was good to interact with the coaches and get to see the facilities. The coaches were awesome and the new facilities are fantastic."
Expect a commitment from Johnson in the near future as he hopes to have his decision made before heading into the summer.
