BearsIllustrated.com Update: Anthony Gonzales has committed to the Baylor Bears. More to come on the commitment, but below, take a look at what Gonzales had to say going into the weekend. Anthony Gonzales is a 6'5" 260 pound defensive end that played his junior college football at Blinn Junior College. Originally out of Copperas Cove, Texas, Gonzales has made a name for himself on the defensive side of the ball evidenced by the number of scholarship offers he holds. However, two schools seem to have set themselves apart for his services.

"I am taking a visit to Baylor, and I am probably going to take another visit to Arizona pretty soon. Really, that's about it for right now."

Gonzales provides that Baylor defensive line coach, Theo Young, is the coach responsible for his recruitment. Gonzales talks about his upcoming visit to Baylor University.

"I am pretty excited to get up there. I am excited to see everything, and to see what they have to offer me there."

Gonzales is being recruited as a defensive end position. Gonzales talks about his strengths playing on the defensive line.

"I am a run-stopper, and I am a pass rusher. I have a quick-twitch, and studying film of our opponents. I use my speed to the best of my ability."

The talented defensive lineman discusses the timeframe in which he expects to choose a school.

"I'm not going to wait that long. It is going to be soon."
