Baylor's Udoh, Dunn Receive Big 12 Honors

The Baylor Bears men's basketball team had two of its players honored with conference weekly awards on Monday. Junior forward Ekpe Udoh and junior guard Lacedarius Dunn were both honored by the Big 12 Conference for their performances this past week.

The Baylor Bears went 2-0 this past week in conference play, and for their efforts, two key cogs on the Baylor team were honored with Big 12 weekly honors.

Baylor junior guard Lacedarius Dunn was named Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week. Dunn averaged 18 points and 6 rebounds in wins over Nebraska and Missouri. In the victories, Dunn shot 91.7% from the charity stripe, and with his efforts, is currently the all-time leader in free throw percentage at Baylor.

Junior forward Ekpe Udoh received Phillips 66 Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors after hitting two game winning shots in back to back games against Nebraska and Missouri. Udoh, with his efforts, established a single season school record at Baylor for blocked shots. Udoh's 100 blocked shots on the season surpasses Brian Skinner's former record of 98.

The Baylor Bears next host the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Tuesday in Waco, Texas.
