Baylor's Newest Commit Talks Football

On Wednesday, the Baylor Bears added a talented defensive end to the fold. Come in to see what he had to say about Baylor and the reasons he chose the green and gold.

Donald Bryant, a 6-2 253 defensive end prospect out of Daingerfield, Texas, gave his verbal pledge to the Baylor Bears on Wednesday.

"Baylor is a great fit for me," says Bryant. "I liked the campus a lot, and that is what really what turned my attention to Baylor."

Although Bryant had been receiving heavy interest from other schools, the Bears were the first to offer him a scholarship. Bryant was happy to get the offer, and in return gave Baylor his verbal commitment.

"I am done. Baylor is where I am going to be," states Bryant on his future camp plans.

Bryant will play both offensive and defensive line to finish his high school career, but projects to be a defensive end on the next level. He discusses the strengths he brings to the football field.

"I use my hands well. I am a great speed rusher, and I can get off blocks," says Bryant.
