Auburn Win Over Chattanooga Impresses Voters

They weren't Hawai'i, but Chattanooga provided just the ammunition for Auburn to vault past Boise State in this morning's Associated Press college football poll.

Auburn moved ahead of Boise State in this week's Associated Press college football ratings after its win over Chattanooga.

The Tigers received 1396 votes to 1366 for Boise State in today's poll. Auburn buried Chattanooga 62-24 to impress the voters enough to move them past Boise State. Boise State remained undefeated with the nation's longest winning streak at 22 games. Boise State defeated Hawai'i yesterday afternoon 42-7. Hawai'i came into the game as one of the top offenses in the nation and ranked one spot outside the Top 25 in all the major polls. Chattanooga is not a major college team but they are 5-4 this season in the lower division of college football

The Broncos have won while noticing that three teams ranked behind them in the preseason have passed them (Oregon and now TCU and Auburn).
