Unlike the Utah game prior to Christmas, the Broncos did not relinquish their big lead this time. Coach Leon Rice's team held Tech to a season low at halftime, carrying a 36-14 lead into intermission. The Bulldogs could not get closer than 14 points until the final minutes. Sharpshooter Paul Noonan hit for a season-high 23 points to pace the Broncos and nailed six three-pointers. La'Shard Anderson backed him up with 11 points, eight assists and a career high seven rebounds.
DeAndre Brown led Tech with 24 points while Ashaolu Olu had 15 points and 10 boards.
