Welcome Back Coordinator

Sources out of Indiana University have confirmed that former Boise State Wide Receivers Coach, Brent Pease, who accepted the Offensive Coordinator position at Indiana about a week ago, will now return to Boise State to take over that same post for the Broncos.

Brent Pease said when he accepted the Offensive Coordinator position at the Big-10's Indiana University Hoosiers, that if he knew that Bryan Harsin were thinking of moving on from Boise State, that he would not have looked to leave Boise State.

Then, less than a week later, Harsin surprised everyone by bolting from the Bronco staff to the Texas Longhorns.

So Pease, true to his word, took very little time in turning right around and returning to the Boise State campus with a new title, as Offensive Coordinator.

Multiple sources in Boise have confirmed that Pease was back in town, but now comes word out of Bloomington, Indiana that sources at Indiana are confirming that Pease has indeed left the Hoosiers after just 7 days and returned to the Broncos.

According to Dustin Dopirak, the Indiana Hoosiers beatwriter for the Herald Times, sources at Indiana have confirmed the Brent Pease rumors. In fact, he states that an official announcement may be forthcoming from Boise State today.

This would seem to be good news for Boise State fans as it seems unlikely that Pease would so quickly return to Boise State if Bronco Head Coach Chris Petersen were on the verge of leaving for Stanford.
