Bothell HS WR Trent Sewell (Bothell, WA) is one of the top WR prospects on the West Coast in the 2012 class. He has two offers in-hand it appears more will be on the way soon. Is a Boise State offer in Sewell's future?

"I have offers from Washington State and UCLA," he said. "Right now, I'd say Boise State, Oregon, and Cal are the three schools showing the most interest that have yet to offer," he added.

"Coach Gregory is recruiting me," he stated. "I think they're close to an offer and we're just trying to get to know each other right now."

"What I like about Boise State is their offense. I really like how they use their receivers," he said. "I think that's the type of offense that I would do well in. I think that would be a nice fit for me."

The talented WR says he's going to try to attend as many Junior Days as possible and he also plans on hitting the camp circuit this summer.

"I'm going to try to attend as many Junior Days as possible," Sewell said. "Arizona, Boise State, and Oregon State are three camps that I hope to attend at this time. I'm going to try to go to as many as I can."

Ideally, Sewell would like to take a few official visits and commit somewhere around mid-season of his senior year. With spring practice coming up, Sewell wants to set the example for the underclassmen at Bothell.

"We start the last week of May," he said. "I just want to set an example for the underclassmen and show them how we do things at Bothell. We also have a new QB coming up this year, so I want to get some work in with him. He's a hard worker, so I think we're going to be fine at QB."

What does Sewell bring to the gridiron?

"Well, I'd have to say I'm very physical and I try to focus on my routes and blocking," he said. "What I'd like to work on is my lateral speed. I want to increase that."

As a junior, Sewell (6'2, 205, 4.46) had 44 receptions for 1,058 yards and 12 TDs.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Trent Sewell.
