Arcadia HS ATH Taylor Lagace (Arcadia, CA) has two offers in-hand and a third could be coming soon as Boise State is showing a lot of interest. The talented ATH will be in Boise this weekend for an unofficial visit. Will Lagace leave Boise with offer #3?

"They are verbally offering when I get up there," he said. "I just started talking to Boise about two weeks ago and I just got off the phone with Coach Yates. We talked for about half an hour. He asked what position I'd like to play in college and I said Safety. He then said he was happy to hear that since he's the DB Coach."

"I have offers from New Mexico State and Northern Arizona," he said. "I think Washington, Fresno State, Washington State, Oregon State, and Arizona State are all close to offering."

This will be Lagace's first trip to Boise. By all accounts, he's excited to see what the program has to offer.

"I'm going to Boise on Friday," he stated. "I've never been up there so I'm going to look at education, practice, what the team is like, and just see if it's a good fit for me."

What is Taylor looking for in a school?

"Basically, just a place that's going to win," said Lagace. "I'm looking for a program where the team is close, everyone gets along, and a place that wins games."

The camp circuit will heat up in just a few months. Right now, it looks like a busy summer for Taylor Lagace.

"I want to camp at Washington, Oregon State, USC, UCLA, Fresno State, Cal, and maybe a couple others," he said.

In 2010, the Arcadia Apaches finished the season with a 7-4 record and won the Pacific League Championship. Spring practice has already gotten underway and expectations are high heading into 2011.

"I think our team had a lot of potential last year and we could've gone further in the CIF," he said. "We started spring ball about two weeks ago and it's going well. We return a lot of guys this year, so we think we'll be pretty good. The goal is to win and we believe we can do it."

What does Lagace (6'2, 200, 4.4) bring to the gridiron?

"I'm physical, aggressive, and I'm determined to win," he said. "I just have a deep desire to win," he added.

As a junior, Lagace was a playmaker on both sides of the ball. At WR, he had 51 receptions for 750 yards and 11 TDs. At S, he had 50 tackles and 4 INTs.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Taylor Lagace.
