Mullen HS OL Arthur Flores (Denver, CO) has five offers in-hand, but says he's still wide open. The camp circuit will heat up in just a few months and the talented O-lineman plans to attend a handful of camps, including Boise State.

"I have offers from Utah, UCF, Boise State, Colorado, and Vanderbilt," he said. "Right now, I'm still wide open. I've had a bunch of coaches come by the school in the past month and I'm still getting a feel for the process."

"Coach Strausser offered me back in mid-April," he stated. "I know they're (Boise State) a real good school and I like their coaching staff. I'll be going to their camp, so I'll be interested to see the campus and everything."

"I'm going to a lot of camps this summer," said Flores. "We'll be going up to Washington, Boise State, Utah, BYU, Penn State, maybe Oregon, and probably CSU as well. Ideally, I'd like to commit before my senior season, so I'm going to use the camps as a way to see the campus as well. I'll be able to narrow my list more from there."

Arthur says a "family-atmosphere" and a program with a strong work ethic are the main qualities he's looking for in a school.

"Just a family-type atmosphere and a program with a good work ethic," he said. "I want be around a group of players that like each other and a program with good coaches and facilities," he added.

Year-in and year-out the Mullen Mustangs have consistently been the top football program in the State of Colorado. In 2010, they won yet another State Championship and outscored their opponents by an unbelievable margin of 517-89. Still, this is all quite new for Arthur Flores as he just recently transferred to Mullen and the 2011 season will be his first as a Mustang.

"Football and academics are why I transferred to Mullen," he said. "It's going to be a lot different this year with me being the only senior lineman. I've got to step up and be a leader too. We're going to have a good team, but a young one too. We're just going to have to take it game-by-game."

What does Flores (6'6, 300) bring to the gridiron?

"Honestly, I think I'm pretty good at everything and don't do anything bad," he said. "Personally, I think I'm the best in the state. I guess I'd say my footwork if I had to pick one thing that I'd like to improve on."

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Arthur Flores.
