Boise State Lands Their QB

BroncoCountry and Scout.com break the news that Boise State's #1 QB target for the 2012 class has made the call and committed to Boise State. Welcome Nick Patti to Bronco Nation.

Nick Patti made it clear what Boise State's intentions were with him just a couple of weeks ago, telling BroncoCountry's Jared Crews:

"It was awesome talking to Coach Petersen, (I)t was really a great opportunity for me. We sat down with him on Tuesday and he ran through the process, and what they do with recruits. He said I'm their #1 guy and they weren't going to offer anyone else until I decide. That's special and I appreciate it."

Now, with a second visit to Boise State for his entire family in the planning stages, it appears that Nick Patti has made a decision that should have all Bronco fans cheering.

What does Patti (5'11, 185, 4.5) bring to the gridiron?

"I'd say I'm a pocket passer that has the ability to escape, I'm not a straight passer or a straight option QB, but I can work the pocket and do what I need to do."

As a junior, Patti had 2,890 yards passing and 37 TDs. He also had 600 rushing yards.

BroncoCountry.com will have the latest from the newest Bronco, Nick Patti, shortly.
