Cosumnes Oaks WR Michael Thomas (Elk Grove, CA) is still looking for that first offer, but numerous schools across the West Coast have shown some level of interest. Boise State just happens to be one of those schools and the talented WR will also camp at Boise State later this month.

"I'm still looking for that first offer," he said. "Basically, the whole Pac-12 has shown some interest along with Boise State, Idaho, Nevada, and a few others," he added.

"I haven't spoken to Coach Prince in a while, but I plan on calling him soon," he stated. "Coach Prince is a real cool guy. He's always telling me what I do good and what I need to work on."

"They just have a real good program," he said in regards to Boise State. "Everybody up there is friendly, they have great hospitality, and I like Coach Petersen too."

It's no secret that Michael Thomas, Marcus Rios, and Robert Ash are all good friends. He says he'd like to have the opportunity to play with them on the college level.

"It would be fun to play together since we all know each other," said Thomas. "I really think that would be a great experience."

"I'd like to go to Boise State, but right now I'm just looking for that first offer," he said. "A good education and a good football program is what I'm looking for."

Thomas and his teammates will camp at Boise State later this month. He says his goal is to win the MVP Award and show the coaching staff what he can do on the field.

"I'm looking forward to the camp. I'm just going to go out there and show them what I can do," he said. "Last year was a lot of fun, so I'm looking forward to getting back up there. My goal is to win that MVP Award."

What does Thomas (6'3, 168) bring to the gridiron?

"I'd say I create separation really well," he said. "I have good hands, run good routes, and I have good speed," he added.
