Summit HS ATH Jamaal Williams (Fontana, CA) was in Boise just a little over a week ago for the annual football camp at Bronco Stadium. The talented ATH is versatile in that he can play both RB and LB at the next level, so which position suits him best?

"I liked the camp a lot," he said. "I'd have to say I liked the blue turf the most. They have a great program and you can see that as you walk through the building with all of the trophies and everything. They have a great winning tradition."

"Boise State is recruiting me as a LB," he stated. "Actually, they're still not too sure what they want to do with me. The RB Coach said he'd like for me to play RB."

"Coach B likes the way I run, very physical," said Williams. "I'm very powerful and an every down back. I run 100% and go full effort every time I get the ball."

The talented ATH says BYU is his leader right now, but would still like to take all of his official visits this fall.

"I would like to decide sometime after my official visits. I see myself taking all five of them right now," he said. "I will definitely take an official visit to Boise State and BYU. Those are the only two that I know of right now."

Williams' says he's looking for a program with great tradition and a winning environment.

"I'm looking for a program with great tradition and a winning environment," he said. "I also want to see what their plans are for me and what position I'll play," he added.

So, will it be RB or LB?

"My junior year was my first year playing LB since I was little," said Williams. "I would like to play RB in college, but I'd be open to playing LB as well. I'm only 16 so I still have plenty of room to grow."

Jamaal (6'1, 190) and his teammates will start summer workouts next week and he already has a few goals in mind as he looks forward to his senior season.

"First, I want us to win a championship," he said. "My second goal would be to rush for over 1,000 yards," he added.

As a junior, he rushed for 717 yards and 11 TDs.

The talented ATH currently has offers from Boise State, BYU, Utah, Idaho, New Mexico, and San Diego State.
