Dorsey HS LB Jeremiah Allison (Los Angeles, CA) currently has six offers in-hand and considers himself "wide open" at this point in the recruiting process. Boise State offered the talented LB just a couple months ago and the Broncos appear to be a strong contender for his services.

"I'm wide open," he said. "I like UCLA since they were my first offer and Boise State because they're good every year, but I'm wide open right now," he added.

"Coach Yates is recruiting me," he stated. "He's real easy going, very real with you. You can see that he's energetic and pumped about Boise State football. He tells me Boise State is a good school and that I'd like it up there."

"They're not much of an underdog anymore," he said in regards to Boise State. "They're one of the favorites to win every year now it seems. Their coaching staff seems to be real fired up about football and I know it's a good school too."

So, what is Allison looking for in a school?

"Education is key," said Allison. "The performance of the football team and that family feeling is what I'm looking for in a school. I have to know that the coaches will be able to help me in different areas should I choose to leave the state."

"I'd like to take all of my visits and then commit," he said. "I'll probably have a top five within the next month or so. I'd say I'm wide open until then."

The Dorsey Dons have been a SoCal powerhouse for the past two decades. They expect to compete for a CIF Championship year-in and year-out. In 2010, they went 10-2, but that wasn't good enough.

"You look at any year you don't win a championship a bit different," said Allison. "We went 10-2, but we expect to do better than that. Team goal is the same this year as it is every year...win a CIF Championship. Personally, I want to break the school sack record for a single season. I had 24 last year (20 solo) and the school record is 26. I'm getting close."

"I'd give all the glory to God if I'm able to break that record," he said. "If I break that record it probably means that I'll go down in Dorsey history for the most sacks in three years on varsity."

What does Allison (6'1, 210) bring to the gridiron?

"Basically, I have a nose for the ball and never give up on a play," he said. "I keep going full speed the whole game," he added.

As a junior, he had 88 tackles and 20 sacks.

The talented LB currently has offers from Boise State, UCLA, Colorado State, Duke, Nevada, and SMU.
