Crespi HS DB Tyler Foreman (Encino, CA) is projected to be one of the top DB prospects in Southern California for the 2013 class and just recently picked up his second offer as Boise State put an offer on the table just last week. So, what are his thoughts on the offer?

"I know they're a really good program," he said. "They haven't gotten much recognition over the past few years, but they're much more recognized now," he added.

"Coach Prince came to my school on Thursday and spoke to my coach," he stated. "I was in class when he came by so my DB Coach told me to give him (Prince) a call and he offered."

"They (BSU) like me at Free Safety or Strong Safety."

The talented DB picked up an offer from Arizona State back on October 24th and says he never expected his recruitment to start so early.

"It's really exciting," said Foreman. "I didn't think I'd get an offer until after the season. It's great."

"I'm just taking it as it comes in," he said. "I'm not going to stress about it. I'm just going to go out there and play, not think about the offers. I'm just going to go with the flow."

It's early, but Foreman says the overall environment will play a big role in his recruitment.

"I'd say environment, culture, and how the team interacts," he said. "The different classes I can take could be big and also the coaching staff as a whole. Those are some things I'm looking for."

Foreman and his teammates are 7-2 through nine games. The standout DB is satisfied with the season, but says they still haven't reached their full potential.

"We haven't reached our potential yet," said Foreman. "We'll be unstoppable once we come together and play as a family. I think we can make a run at CIF once we make it to the playoffs. We're in the process of gelling as a team right now and we'll give a lot of people a run for their money."

What does Foreman (6'2, 195, 4.6) bring to the gridiron?

"I'd say deceiving," he said. "People look at me and think I'm not quick on my feet. They don't think I'm strong and I go out there and prove myself to them."

Through nine games - he has 2 INTs and 55 tackles.
