American Canyon HS ATH Chris Seisay (American Canyon, CA) picked up his second offer last week and a number of other schools have been showing strong interest, including Boise State. The talented ATH says Boise State is his "dream school" and his top choice by far, but will they offer?

"I'm up to two offers now," he said. "Washington State offered me last week," he added.

"Boise State is my dream school," he stated. "I think they're going to offer soon. I was told to look for it within the next month. I've got to fix a few of my classes and bring some C's up, but they told me I'll have the offer after I get everything in order."

"My dad and Coach Bhonapha's dad are good friends. They grew up together," he said. "My dad really wants me to go to Boise State. Actually, everyone in my family wants that and his (Coach Bhonapha's) too."

Seisay camped at Boise State last summer and says the family atmosphere made it feel like home.

"They welcomed me as if I was their own player," said Seisay. "I like the area around Boise and Idaho as a whole. The campus, the city, everything was nice. It was just a good place overall."

"I spoke to Coach Bhonapha yesterday," he said. "I told him I was going to get my classes squared away and he said they'll be ready to offer when my grades go higher."

Seisay currently holds offers from Utah State and Washington State, but a number of other schools have been showing interest too. Michigan, Oregon State, and California are just a few of the other schools that have Seisay on their recruiting board. Having said that, Boise State is clearly his top school at this time.

"I might visit 2-3 other schools, but Boise State is where I want to go," he said. "I'm not sure if I'll commit right away when I get that offer, but I'll definitely think about that. Like I said, they're my dream school."

"They like me at WR."

Seisay is versatile in that he can play WR, CB, or Safety at the next level. Still, he says he would like to play WR and feels that is his best position.

"I think my best position is WR," he said. "That's just another reason why I like Boise State. They get the ball to a number of receivers and spread it out. I want to play in an offense that uses multiple receivers like that."

So, what does Chris Seisay (6'2, 175, 4.53) bring to the gridiron?

"Boise State likes that I can get outside and run for the deep ball," he said. "They also like my breakaway speed," he added.

As a junior, he had 26 receptions for 756 yards and 9 TDs at WR. On defense, he had 73 tackles and 4 INTs.
