Gahr HS DB Patrick Enewally (Cerritos, CA) picked up his eighth offer on Thursday morning as Boise State became the latest school to put an offer on the table. The talented DB says he's still wide open at this time, but will start planning his official visits within the next couple weeks. So, will Boise State be in the mix for one of those visits?

"Boise State offered me on Thursday morning," he said. "They've been recruiting me for a while," he added.

"I was pretty excited," he stated. "I know Boise State is a great school, a top team, and they compete hard."

"Coach Jimmy Lake offered me," said Enewally. "He's been the main one recruiting me. What I like about him is that he's real positive, tells you like it is, and doesn't lie to you."

He went on to say that he's still wide open, but will start planning his official visits within the next couple weeks.

"I'm still wide open," he said. "I can see myself taking a visit to Boise State. I'm going to start planning those visits in the next few weeks."

"Boise State told me I could play CB or Safety," said Enewally. "Personally, I really like CB a lot. I feel I'm more versatile at CB and match-up well against the WRs."

Last season, Enewally and his teammates finished the season with a 7-3 record but they're looking to compete for a CIF Title this year.

"We hope to win a CIF Championship this year," he said. "We've got our entire defense coming back and we're looking strong on offense too. Our receiving core is looking real good."

"I think it helps that I also play WR," he said. "At DB, most DBs don't have ball skills. Having those good skills means you have a great upside."

So, what does Patrick Enewally (6'2, 190, 4.5) bring to the gridiron?

"I'm explosive...a lock-down corner," he said. "People try to compare me to Patrick Peterson," he added.
