Frontier HS QB Evan Moore (Bakersfield, CA) is one of the top 2014 QB prospects on the West Coast and was in Boise just last week to checkout the campus and facilities at Boise State. The talented signal-caller says he came away impressed with the program, what it had to offer, and hopes to return this fall to checkout a game.

"It was great," he said. "We got there late Monday night, walked around downtown Boise for a bit, found a hotel, woke up early the next morning, met the coaches, and took a tour of the campus and facilities."

"I met Coach Prince and Coach Smith," he stated. "They seem like really nice guys, all about business, but their goal is to make you a better man as well. I like how they interacted with me as a recruit."

"I would definitely like to go back up," said Moore. "I plan on trying to get in contact with Coach Petersen since he was out of town and I'm looking forward to that. I'd like to get back up there for a game, but definitely during the winter time if I can't this fall."

Moore noted that there's lots of construction going on right now and says the new football facility looks "top-notch."

"Yeah, I got to see the plans for the new facility," he said. "It looks top-notch. They're outgrowing the one they have now and this new facility will be a huge improvement for them."

"The blue turf is even better in person," he said. "It's pretty amazing to see it up-close," he added.

Moore and his teammates will start fall camp next week and he believes this year's team has plenty of potential.

"We're looking really solid," he said. "We're definitely ahead of where the coaches wanted us and we've got a lot of smart guys, especially on offense. We're picking everything up fast, getting more intense, and getting excited for the season."

Evan has also improved since last season and says he expects big things this season.

"I'm feeling really confident," he said. "I've definitely made strides since last season. I feel a lot smarter with a quicker release and I'm also throwing better balls."

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Evan Moore.
