Chino Hills HS WR Jack Austin (Chino Hills, CA) verbally committed to Boise State back during the summer and was on campus just last weekend for his official visit. The future Bronco said he had high expectations going into the visit and that his trip to The Blue did nothing but fulfill those same expectations.

"I had high expectations going in and it fulfilled all of them," he said. "The trip was packed full of things to do," he added.

"I was able to meet with Coach Prince and then Coach Pete," he stated. "Coach Prince went through what he's looking for in a receiver, what it's going to take, and also had me do some interactive route running and situational stuff. With Coach Pete, he talked about how excited he is to get me up there. He went over what they look for in a player, the attributes, and said I fit the mold. He told me I'll love my time there and that it will take a lot of hard work, but it will be well worth it."

"I followed the WRs around all practice," said Austin. "The whole practice it was very high-tempo. The drills that Coach Prince had the receivers running through was flawless and you can see that he's really a solid coach. The intensity was high, everyone ran from drill to drill, and it was just a great atmosphere."

The official visit also included a trip to Head Coach Chris Petersen's house for dinner.

"Having dinner at Coach Pete's house was really cool," he said. "I was really taken back by it all. All of the coaches were there too and it was like a big family. It was a real fun atmosphere."

"I'm 100% committed."

The entire Boise State staff is on the road recruiting all this week. Offensive Coordinator Robert Prince will stop by Austin's house for an in-home visit this week.

"Coach Prince is coming this week," he said. "I'm really excited for that. It's going to be great to have him here in our home. Also, Coach Pete will be coming down in January. I'm looking forward to that too."
