Westlake HS CB Dashon Hunt (Westlake Village, CA) narrowed his list to three just a month or so ago and is set to make his verbal commitment this weekend at the Offense-Defense All-Star Game. The talented CB says he still doesn't know exactly which school he'll pick, but that he's looking forward to putting this process behind him. So, will it be Boise State? Oregon State? Possibly Nebraska?

"I'm still trying to decide," he said. "I'm really looking forward to making my commitment and then being able to prepare for college," he added.

"The decision will come down to which school felt most like home for me," he stated. "Secondly, I'm also looking at which school allows my parents to come watch me the most. Third, it's about the support system and who my teammates will be. It's really a little bit of everything."

"My parents want me at a school with good academics and a good support system," said Hunt. "They're also wanting me to go to a good football program where I can possibly earn early playing time. They think any of the three would be a good fit for me."

So, what are Hunt's thoughts on his top three heading into the weekend?

Boise State - "With Boise, I like the coaches and I have a good relationship with them. They also have a great football history and good academic support. I watched the game against Washington and I thought their DBs played really well. They did a nice job against the pass and run."

Oregon State - "I love the coaches at Oregon State too. The area was really nice and so were the players."

Nebraska - "The football and academics are great. They have one of the most tradition rich programs in the country."

Hunt is eager to make his college decision, but will focus on playing well in the upcoming game this weekend in the meantime.

"We've got practice tomorrow," he said. "I think it's exciting to come out here and play a game like this with so many great athletes. Everyone out here wants to play well. It really means a lot to be selected to a game like this."
