Jayron Kearse

No. 100 -- Jayron Kearse, LB

Ranking: (No. 6 overall OLB)

Commitment: Clemson

The latest: Kearse committed to Clemson in August and has said he's solid to the Tigers, but he was previously committed to both Miami and Auburn earlier in the process.

In his words: "I was committed to Auburn and then to Miami but after I visited Clemson, I just knew that was where I wanted to be and play my college career." -- Dec. 30

Tray Matthews

No. 99 -- Tray Matthews, S

Ranking: (No. 9 overall S)

Commitment: Georgia

The latest: A Georgia commit since August 2011, Matthews was pursued by Auburn and Alabama after announcing but has stayed solid to the Bulldogs. He has spent time recently recruiting others to join him. There are no indications that he is considering another program.

In his words: "I feel at home around the coaches (at Georgia), I like the town, and it is like a home away from home for me. The coaches are easy to talk to, they care about their players, and I have always dreamed about being a Bulldog." -- Aug. 13, 2011

Demorea Stringfellow

No. 98 -- Demorea Stringfellow, WR

Ranking: (No. 11 overall WR)

Commitment: Washington

The latest: Stringfellow took an official visit to USC this past weekend, but he said all along it was just "for the fun of it." He also visited Nebraska in October. He has maintained that he's a solid commitment to the Huskies.

In his words: "I'm solid with Washington. I won't be taking any more visits and my commitment is now 100 percent firm. It always was, but no more trips for sure." -- Jan. 23

Andrew Billings

No. 97 -- Andrew Billings, DT

Ranking: (No. 12 overall DT)

Commitment: None

Interested in: Baylor, TCU, Texas

The latest: Billings has visited Texas and TCU and has Baylor on tap for this coming weekend. He says all three schools are on a more or less even playing field going into the final couple weeks of recruiting.

In his words: "Ever since the first time we went (to TCU) to now, the school has really changed. ... Me and the coaches have built a better connection. It just keeps getting better every time."

Tyler Foreman

No. 96 -- Tyler Foreman, S

Ranking: (No. 8 overall S)

Commitment: UCLA

The latest: The Bruins have received a lot of good news lately, including Foreman's commitment on Jan. 20. Once a Wisconsin commit, Foreman changed his mind and opted to stay closer to home.

In his words: "We just really sat down and talked with the coaches and my dad, and the coaching staff put together a presentation for me about how I'll fit in the defense, about how I'll fit into the school, let me meet with the academic advisers and just find that UCLA was the place for me." -- Jan. 20

Elijah Daniel

No. 95 -- Elijah Daniel, DE

Ranking: (No. 9 overall DE)

Commitment: Ole Miss

The latest: The Rebels have also had their share of commitments lately, not the least of which is the talented Daniel. He picked Ole Miss over a host of other schools and said Arizona State came in second.

In his words: "I picked Ole Miss because I have a good relationship with the coaches. I really liked the school, the coaches and the players. It felt like home to me." -- Jan. 20

ArDarius Stewart

No. 94 -- ArDarius Stewart, WR

Ranking: (No. 10 overall WR)

Commitment: Alabama

The latest: An Alabama native, Stewart says he's as solid as can be to the Crimson Tide. Who could blame him after Nick Saban's incredible run in Tuscaloosa in recent years? He's listed at wide receiver but has played a variety of positions in high school, including quarterback.

In his words: "I'm pretty strong with Alabama. I'm not going anywhere." -- Sept. 7

Tim Kimbrough

No. 93 -- Tim Kimbrough, LB

Ranking: (No. 5 overall MLB)

Commitment: Georgia

The latest: The Georgia commit has given no indication of wavering, always singing the praises of the Bulldogs program. He committed to Mark Richt and company back in July.

In his words: "I knew when I first visited Georgia earlier this year that that's the school I wanted to go to. I loved everything about that first visit. They have a great atmosphere, offer a great education and have a great football program." -- July 13

Steven Mitchell

No. 92 -- Steven Mitchell, WR

Ranking: (No. 9 overall WR)

Commitment: USC

The latest: At a time when several other recruits are de-committing from USC to explore their options, the top-notch wide receiver prospect is as solid as ever and has given no signs of considering other options.

In his words: "I had no interest in even visiting other schools. I guess some players enjoy that experience but for me, I never had enough interest in any other school to want to waste their time or mine." -- Jan. 20

Tyren Jones

No. 91 -- Tyren Jones, RB

Ranking: (No. 15 overall RB)

Commitment: Alabama

The latest: Jones committed to Alabama in early 2012 and says he's still strong to the school, despite the competition he'll face to crack into that backfield. He indicated he still hears from other major programs but doesn't plan to make any visits.

In his words: "The main reason I chose Alabama was their head coach. I love Nick Saban and since the first time I met him, I knew I would love to play for him." -- Jan. 7
