Diamond Ranch HS OL Kammy Delp (Pomona, CA) picked up an offer from Boise State last week and says he plans on taking a visit to The Blue sometime this summer. The talented O-lineman is versatile in that he can play any position on the O-line or D-line, but which side of the ball does the Bronco coaching staff see him playing on?

"That offer came out of the blue," he said. "I got a call from their RB Coach during lunch, my coach told me to call them, and that's when they offered," he added.

"I guess the coaches liked what they saw on film," he stated. "I've met their RB Coach a couple times and I guess he showed my film to the O-line Coach."

"Boise State likes me as an O-lineman," said Delp. "I'm mostly being recruited as a guard, but a lot of the coaches end up arguing over which side of the ball I should play on. I can play anywhere on either line."

He went on to say that he's a big fan of the Bronco offense and plans on visiting The Blue sometime this summer.

"I like the offensive scheme that they run at Boise State," he said. "Coach Tuivai is a friend of mine and he used to coach there as well. I'm going to try to get up there this summer for a visit."

A family environment is the main thing that Delp is looking for in a football program.

"I want to be a part of a family environment," he said. "I also want to be in a good environment overall as well. I want to be somewhere that I can see myself living. Also, I'd like to go to a school with a good graduation rate."

"I'll probably take my visits and decide after the season," said Delp. "I want to be able to visit the schools that have offered me and make sure I find the right fit."

So, what does Kammy Delp (6'5, 320) bring to the gridiron?

"A lot of schools have mentioned that they like how I finish blocks," he said. "On defense, I've been told that I'm really quick off the ball and that it looks like I'm offsides on film when I'm actually not," he added.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Kammy Delp.
