Mission Viejo HS WR Sean Modster (Mission Viejo, CA) verbally committed to Boise State back during the summer and will be in Boise for his official visit on October 19th. The talented WR and his teammates are currently 6-0 and looking to win a CIF Championship.

"As a team, I think we're playing well," he said. "Our offense is playing well, our defense is playing well, and this team can win a championship if we continue to play well," he added.

"I've missed a couple games because of an ankle and hamstring injury," he stated. "I played last week and will play next week as well, but I've played pretty well this season. I've got 21 receptions for 400 yards and 4 TDs."

"I spoke to Coach Prince last night," said Modster. "We talked about school, football, and all of that. They're excited to get me up to Boise for my official visit."

He went on to say that he's looking forward to seeing the game-day atmosphere in Boise.

"I'm excited to see the atmosphere on game-day," he said. "I want to see the new facilities as well. I think those are going to be great. Also, I want to get to know the coaches a bit better too."

"Boise State is a real good fit for me," said Modster. "I got the offer right after camp and I knew I wanted to be a Bronco after talking about it with my family. It was a great camp and I like the coaches a lot."

And the new Bronco offense?

"I like it," he said. "They told me they were looking for a guy that could stretch the field and that's why they offered me. I think they're wanting to get the ball to their playmakers even more and this new offense will help them do that."

"I'm 100% committed."

Leadership - one of Modster's best character traits.

"I lead by example," he said. "I'm always working hard, playing well, and teaching the younger guys how to get better," he added.
