Kyler Manu Commits on Boise Junior Day

The 2014 Boise State Junior Day has been a huge success for the Broncos, landing not only their QB of the future, but also now one of the State's top Linebacker's to go along with him. Boise State has been watching and recruiting Kyler Manu since he first stepped on a High School football field, and that perseverance paid off.

Kyler Manu joined Brett Rypien on Saturday in pledging to Boise State on Boise State's Junior Day.

BroncoCountry spoke with Kyler just this past week, and the talented Pocatello, ID Linebacker told us that he held one school above all others.

"I've always wanted to play for Boise," said the 6'2", 200-pound Manu. Despite fielding interest from Utah State, Idaho and Washington, his heart was always on the Blue. "Growing up in this area, it's what every kid wants to do. I love it.

"My dad and brothers love Boise State. My family has always loved it. We go to a bunch of games. My dad has known Coach (Marcel) Yates for a long time. We love the whole staff."

Kyler Manu didn't need much time after leaving Boise State's Junior Day to make it official, he committed to Coach Bryan Harsin and the Bronco staff Saturday night, bringing the total number of commits for the 2015 recruiting class to, as of today, 4.
