Paramount (Calif.) High School defensive back Donzale Roddie pledged to Utah back in April of 2014, but stated that he was going to keep his options open. After visiting Colorado in December, the three-star athlete officially decommitted from the Utes. With a better idea of what he wants in a college, Roddie plans on taking a number of visits before he makes a decision.
"Utah is still on my mind and still a place I could be," Roddie said. "I felt comfortable there, but I felt more comfortable when I visited Colorado.
"I'm going to stick it out, take my trips and see where I feel the most comfortable."
Roddie, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound cornerback, will visit the two remaining schools who have offered him; Boise State on Jan. 17 and Wyoming on Jan. 23.
He plans on announcing where he will play college football on national signing day, which is Wednesday, February 4.
"I'm looking for a school with great academics," Roddie said. "My mom is always in my ear about that. She's talking the trips with me. But I don't think she'll be able to come to Boise with me."
