Bronco Men Join Women in NCAA Dance

For the second time in three years, Boise State has received an at-large berth to play in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Broncos go in with a reputation as road spoilers, playing fellow bubble team Dayton on their home court.

Both the Boise State men and women will be in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, the second time in school history that both Bronco teams made it in the same year (the other being 1994). The Broncos received an at-large invitation today to play Dayton on their home floor Wednesday night at 7:10 p.m. Mountain Time.

Boise State has already defeated San Diego State (breaking the nation's fifth-longest home winning streak), Utah State, UNLV, and New Mexico on their home floors this season.

Coach Leon Rice's team won the Mountain West Conference regular season, and can break the school record for wins in a season with a victory Wednesday night.

The Bronco women will find out their first round site and opponent when the NCAA unveils the women's bracket tomorrow night on ESPN.
