Dhaenens Adds New Skills to Repertoire

Alec Dhaenens is one of many talented Boise State tight ends this fall. He talked to the local media about what he has been working on during Fall Camp.

Former Fruitland High School star Alec Dhaenens was in the right place at the right time last year for the Boise State football team.  Dhaenens caught two balls last season--both went for touchdowns of two yards.

While Dhaenens played mostly fullback last season, he is expected to play more on the line of scrimmage at tight end.  That opens up new challenges this fall for the 6--3, 244-pound sophomore, and he has been working on blocking techniques that will aid the Bronco ground game.

With Holden Huff returning for his senior year and record-breaking Jake Roh back, the tight end position at Boise State is in as good of shape as it ever has been.
