Bronco Volleyball Team Falls to Gonzaga 3-1

The Boise State volleyball team lost its second consecutive match of the day, falling to Gonzaga 25-20, 22-25, 24-20, 25-20 tonight.

SPOKANE, Washington--The Boise State volleyball team lost to Gonzaga tonight in the Northwest Challenge 3-1.  

After losing the first set 25-20, the Lady Broncos evened the score with a 25-22 win in the second set.  Boise State led 24-20 in the third set, but sat on set point while Gonzaga scored the last six points of the set to win 26-24.  The home team then put away the match with a 25-20 win in the fourth set.

Sierra Nobley was credited with 25 kills for Boise State while Kaitlyn Oliver had 13 and Maddy O'Donnell 9.

Boise State fell to 1-2 on the season and returns to Boise for the season home opener with Idaho State Thursday night.  The matchup with the Bengals gets underway at 7 in Bronco Gymn.
