Long Beach Poly Teammates De'Andre Pierce and Emmanual Fesili Visited Boise State together and may have committed to Boise State

Boise State made quite the impression on a pair of Southern California prep teammates. Long Beach Polytechnic defensive lineman Emmanuel Fesili and cornerback De'Andre Pierce visited Boise last weekend, and the Broncos may have reaped immediate results with two unknown commitments..

Long Beach Polytechnic defensive lineman Emmanuel Fesili and cornerback DeAndre Pierce visited Boise State last weekend, and the Broncos may have reaped immediate results as Pierce was reported to have committed while on campus, and just a day later another commitment occurred, however nobody has stepped forward to identify themselves as the newest Broncos.
Pierce was identified as the first reported player to commit by the Idaho Press Tribune's BJ Rains, citing an unnamed source, but Pierce would not confirm that report when reached by Scout.com.
Fesili was considered to have been the likely second verbal commitment, which came in Tuesday night, but the 6-foot-1.5, 309-pound athlete likewise says it was not him.
"No sir," Fesili told BroncoCountry's Chase Glorfield when asked if he had committed. "I am not committed anywhere."
Pledge or not, Fesili was blown away by Boise State and what the campus, city and university had to offer.
"The visit was great," he said. "I was impressed with everything."
A quiet, soft-spoken prospect, Fesili lets his play do the talking. College programs are noticing as he currently holds offers from half the Mountain West; Boise State, Fresno State, Utah State, Nevada, San José State, UNLV and New Mexico.
Fesili sees the Broncos as a good fit for him as the team graduates numerous defensive linemen after the 2015 season.
"I fit into a 4-2 scheme perfectly," he said. "That's what Boise runs, and there is an opportunity to play early there."
BroncoCountry will bring you more on Fesili as National Signing Day draws closer.
