Boise State RB Kelsey Young Talks Transferring From Stanford, Idaho State & Upcoming Game Against Virginia

Kelsey Young graduated from Stanford this past year and wanted to go somewhere where he'd get more of a chance to showcase his talents on the field. Forget the fact that his younger brother, Cory Young was already in Boise, Kelsey wanted to go to a winning program that was in need of immediate help in the Backfield.

Enter Boise State, who was looking to replace workhorse Jay Ajayi who, after a phenomenal Junior season, took his talentes to the Miami Dolphins. The rest, as they say, is history.

Kelsey Young scored his first Touchdown as a Bronco last Friday night against Idaho State, as he powered into the endzone on a 1 yard plunge. On a night that saw the Broncos rush for over 340 yards as a team, but nobody go over 70 yards individually.. Kelsey ended the night with 38 total yards on just 8 touches. He also added 1 reception.

Kelsey spoke to the media about his choice to leave Stanford for Boise State, his performance last week, and the upcoming game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
