Boise State coach Eliah Drinkwitz talked with the Boise media Sunday about his unit's execution against Colorado State and what makes Utah State so good on defense.

BOISE, Idaho--Boise State offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz talked with the local media Sunday about the performance of the Bronco offense Saturday against Colorado State, the toughness expected out of a quarterback, what Boise State can do to improve protection for their quarterback, and the challenges of Utah State.

"In key situations, we've got to execute better," Drinkwitz said.  Boise State penetrated Ram territory several times Saturday without points, and only scored three points off of CSU turnovers.

Bronco quarterback Brett Rypien was hit six times by the Ram defense, and Drinkwitz said "We're going to do a better job of protecting; that's going to be a focus for everybody."
