BOISE, Idaho--Boise State defensive coordinator talked with the local media Sunday about the 41-10 win over Colorado State, the play of safety Kameron Miles, the strengths of Utah State and the concept of a dominant defense.

Much has been made of Boise State's defense and, while the Broncos have performed well thus far, the season is not even halfway through. "To me, dominance isn't a game or isn't half a season, it's a full season," Yates said. Yates said that he wouldn't consider his unit dominant until "when we are done with the season, we are are a Top 10 defense...and you won't hear me say 'we're dominant' until then. Every week, you have to be humble and hungry, because every opponent is different. They're looking for a weakness in your defense, and if they can find it, then it can change around real quick."
