Junior Maddy O'Donnell Brings Fire and Intensity To Boise State Bronco Volleyball Team

Junior Maddy O'Donnell plays hard, and her hard work and intensity is infectious.

Junior Maddy O'Donnell is passionate about playing volleyball to the best of her ability.  One of the best all-around players on Boise State, O'Donnell has helped the team climb to second place in the Mountain West Conference.

O'Donnell is second on the Broncos with 45 blocks, third on the Bronco front line with a 34.7% hitting percentage, third in points per set with 2.96, third in service aces with 13 and fourth in kills with 159.

Sophomore outside hitter Sierra Nobley said about O'Donnell:  "She gets me splits when she runs a slide and I'm on the outside.  When she gets a block, I feel like she just brings all the possible energy that she can out of that, and gets everybody else fired up."

Senior Katelyn Kinghorn said of O'Donnell:  "She's great.  She brings a lot of fire and intensity.  She gets the job done."

O'Donnell and the Broncos host #20 Colorado State tomorrow night at 7 in Bronco Gym.  The first 300 fans in the door receive free sunglasses on "Blackout Night".  All fans are encouraged to wear black for the event.
