Boise State Bronco Doubles Teams Victorious at USTA/ITA Mountain Regional

Both Bronco doubles teams won today at the Regional Championships in Albuquerque.

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico--In a day plagued by heavy rain, Boise State's two doubles teams both advanced to the round of 16 at the United States Tennis Association/Intecollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Regional today.

The duos of Toby Mitchell & Kyle Butters and Thomas Tenreiro & Lewis Roskilly each won second round matches after receiving byes in the round of 64.  Tenreiro & Roskilly, seeded third, opened with an 8-4 win over Idaho's Odon Barta and Filipe Fonseca.  The Bronco duo will now face Utah State's Daniel Echeverry and Jaime Barajas tomorrow.

Meanwhile, #8 seed Mitchell and Butters defeated Isaac Perez and Tadhg Collins of Air Force, 8-2 and will face another tandem from Air Force tomorrow,  Jack McCullers and Andrews Parks.

All four Bronco players at the Regionals earned byes into the round of 32 in singles action and will begin play tomorrow.
