Katelyn Kinghorn Making Senior Season Special for Boise State Bronco Volleyball Team

Katelyn Kinghorn is one of two seniors on the Bronco volleyball team and is working hard to go out with a special season.

Katelyn Kinghorn has to be enjoying the wealth of talent on this year's Boise State volleyball team.  Kinghorn, whose kill finally put the game San Diego State Aztecs away last Saturday, is helping make her senior season one to remember for Bronco fans.

Boise State is 14-6 overall and in second place in the tough Mountain West Conference.  The Broncos host first-place and #20 Colorado State tonight in Bronco Gym.

With the talent surrounding her, Kinghorn is doing whatever it takes to help Boise State succeed--she has improved her blocking, she can bring home game-winners as evidenced by the San Diego State game, and she can pass, dig, or do whatever she needs to do.

Kinghorn and the Broncos have been stressing defense this season in an attempt to improve their game.  "That's one thing we've been really working on in practice is defense and stopping the other side," Kinghorn said.

That defense is going to be the only thing that might stop the powerful Ram attack, and the Broncos need to beat a team like Colorado State to get to the next level as a force to be reckoned with.

Tonight's match with CSU is a "Blackout" with fans encouraged to wear black.  In keeping with the theme, the first 300 fans through the door will receive sunglasses.  But all will be treated to great volleyball.  First serve is at 7 p.m.
