Boise State Bronco Offensive Coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz October 26 Press Confererence

Boise State coach Eliah Drinkwitz helped steer the Bronco ship through the adversity of last week's humbling defeat and produced a win over Wyoming on Homecoming last weekend. Drinkwitz talked to the Boise media this afternoon.

BOISE, Idaho--Boise State offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz spoke to the local media this afternoon.  Drinkwitz praised the offensive line and his unit in general, and gave an assessment of the challenges that UNLV brings this Saturday.  The Broncos, who uncharacteristically suffered eight turnovers in a loss at Utah State, cut those turnovers to one in a 34-14 win over Wyoming last Saturday night.

"I'm very proud of those guys," Drinkwitz said of his offense.  Those guys put in the work, those guys took it to heart and everybody on the offense responded.  I'm proud of those guys for that."

Drinkwitz also praised wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck for his circus catch against Wyoming.  "The Lord's blessed him with a lot of talent and the Lord's blessed him with a tremendous work ethic.  You combine those two things and you produce a special football player.  It's a tribute to him."

The Broncos take on UNLV Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas.
