The Boise State Bronco Swimming & Diving Team Beats the Utah Utes, Loses To #30 Florida Gulf Coast

The Bronco swimming & diving team earned a split yesterday in Salt Lake City.

SALT LAKE CITY--The Boise State swimming and diving team split yesterday, defeating Utah 158-141 and losing to #34 Florida Gulf Coast 159-140.  

Junior Brittany Aoyama and sophomore Emma Chard both posted three victories, with Chard winning the 200 and 500-yard freestyle races and Aoyama capturing the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.40.  Chard and Aoyama teamed with Cody Evans and Felicity Cann to win the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:26.15), while Aoyama also helped Sam Wicks, Laura Williams and Katelyn Martin win the 200 medley relay (1:42.82).

Chard and Cann went 1-2 in the 200 and 500 free, with Chard touching first in the 200 (1:50.32) and winning the 500 with a time of 5:00.40.

Boise State meeets BYU in Provo today at noon.
