The Bronco swimmers came back from a split yesterday to dominated BYU.

PROVO, Utah--The Boise State swimming & Diving team captured 11 of 16 events this afternoon to overpower BYU 153-111.

Brittany Aoyama and Sam Wicks each won four events while Felicity Cann won three.  Wicks was part of the winning 200-yard freestyle and 200 medley relays and won both backstroke events, the 100 (55.12) and the 200 (2:03.17).  Aoyama also was on that 200 medley relay team and won three individual events:  the 100 (55.23) and 200-yard (2:05.03) butterflys and the 100-yard freestyle (51.73).  Cann won the 200 (1:51.01) and 500 freestyles (5:03.21) and helped the 200 free relay team win.

Blake Balogh won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:32.57 while Karli Kriewall won the 3-meter event with a score of 263.00

“We had some great performances today, and won both relays, which I’m really happy with,” said Boise State head coach Jeremy Kipp. “Felicity Cann was great today and did a good job of holding down her events. Sam and Brittany swept their events, especially with events they don’t normally swim in the 200 back for Sam and the 200 fly for Brittany."

Laura Williams and Katelyn Martin joined Aoyama and Wicks on the 200 medley relay team--together the four turned in a time of 1:43.45.  Martin and Cody Evans joined Wicks and Cann on the winning 200 freestyle relay team.

The Broncos have two weeks off before traveling to College Station, Texas for the Art Adamson Invitational November 18-21.
