BOISE, Idaho--With their 55-27 win over UNLV this afternoon in Las Vegas, the Boise State Broncos have now won seven or more games for a 17th consecutive season.  The incredible consistency of Boise State has now tied the top eras in the history of the Miami (Fl) Hurricanes, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Penn State Nittany Lions for 17 straight seasons of seven or more wins.

Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin has been a part of the Bronco success for 13 of those 17 years either as a player (1999), graduate assistant (2001), tight ends coach (2002-2005), offensive coordinator (2006-2010) and now head coach (2014-present).

Miami was one of the top teams in the nation from 1980-1996, when the Hurricanes put their streak together.  Notre Dame achieved their run of 17 straight seasons with seven or more wins from 1964-1980, while Penn State generated seven or more wins from 1967-1983 under head coach Joe Paterno.
