Steven Baggett and the Boise State Bronco Offensive Line Coming Together

Earlier in the season, the Boise State offensive line was dogged by criticism, but the unit has improved its performance in recent weeks.

BOISE, Idaho--Earlier in the season, Boise State was #116 in the nation in tackles-for-loss allowed and #113 in sacks allowed.  That's a big dropoff from less than five years ago, when Bronco quarterback Kellen Moore was rarely touched and Boise State was among the national leaders in both categories.

Since the loss to Utah State three weeks ago, the Broncos have tightened up, allowing just one sack and three tackles-for-loss against Wyoming and no sacks and four tackles-for-loss vs. UNLV two weeks ago.

Boise State is still #103 in tackles-for-loss allowed, but they have improved their sacks allowed ranking to 66th.

The Broncos face the physical defense of New Mexico this Saturday in Albertsons Stadium.  Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. Mountain Time.
