The Boise State Men's Cross Country Team Was Selected As An At-Large for Next Week's NCAA National Championships

The Boise State men have just been selected as an at-large team to the NCAA National Cross Country Championships.

BOISE, Idaho--The Boise State men's cross country team was selected today as an at-large team for next week's NCAA National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky.  It is the first time in program history that both the Bronco men and women will compete in the same national championships.  The Bronco women earned a berth by finishing second in yesterday's West Regional in Seattle.

The Boise State men were one of 13 at-large teams selected today after finishing fifth in that same Regional.

The Bronco men were selected once before, finishing eighth in 1996, while the Boise State women were 11th last year.  

The championships will be run next Saturday, October 21 at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville.  The women will race at 10 AM Mountain Time, followed by the men at approximately 11 AM.  A live webcast will be shown on  Stay tuned to for more information on the championships in the days to come.
