Boise State Broncos Host Willamette Tonight

Boise State has tested itself against some of the nation's top teams early in the 2015-16 basketball campaign. Tonight, the Broncos return home, where they'll play six of their next seven games.

BOISE, Idaho--Fresh from a fourth-place finish at the DirecTV Wooden Legacy Tournament, the Boise State men's basketball team returns home to host Willamette tonight.

Having faced three Top 15 teams in the last two weeks, the Broncos (3-4) are looking to find a rhythm and to gain some momentum prior to the start of the Mountain West Conference season.

Willamette (1-4) won their season opener but has found the going much tougher since.  The Bearcats average 77 points a game and are led by Meridian, Idaho native Brandon Luedtke, who is averaging 15.6 points a game.

Boise State is 64-15 at Taco Bell Arena since Leon Rice took over as head coach.  Boise State has won 43 of its last 49 games at home.  Hitting 70 points seems to be a good recipe for success under Rice--the Broncos are 83-17 when scoring at least 70 points, but just 22-50 when falling short of 70.

Tipoff tonight is at 7 in Taco Bell Arena.
