Sierra Nobley Wins National Volleyball Player of the Week Honor

Nobley becomes the first Bronco volleyball player to win prestigious award.

Boise State sophomore outside hitter Sierra Nobley has been named the American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Week.

Nobley finished the regular season with 25 kills in Boise State's three-set win over Utah State last Tuesday, finishing the match with a 52 percent hitting percentage.  Nobley is the first Bronco player to earn the AVCA National Player of the Week award.

Nobley also had 10 digs, two assists, two service aces and two blocks against the Aggies.  Sierra's 25 kills gave her 316 in Mountain West Conference action to set a MW record.
