Boise State lost, and then gained a DC, and then gained 2 new Broncos

Boise State had a memorable Monday, as they bid goodbye to (now former) Defensive Coordinator Marcel Yates, but then welcomed new DC Andy Avalos.. and then two new Future Bronco Football players.

Monday saw long time Assistant Coach and alum Marcel Yates decided to leave Boise State to become the new Arizona Defensive Coordinator

But also the hiring of new Defensive Coordinatory Andy Avalos, himself a longtime Assistant Coach and Boise State alum.

Then there were two commitments 'announced' by the Staff today.

The first is still unknown, although believed to be a WR.

The second is former Oregon State TE Commit John Bates.

All in all.. an eventful, if not ultimately successful day for Boise State.
