James Webb III Declares for NBA Draft, Won't Hire Agent Yet

News broke late Sunday evening that Boise State Forward James Webb III has declared for the 2016 NBA Draft.

Boise State F James Webb III has declared for the NBA Draft per a report by Idaho Statesman reporter Dave Southorn and an article published by Boise State on BroncoSports.com.

Southorn also reports that Webb III won't hire an agent right away, opening the door for the talented forward to return to school should he decide before the Draft takes place.

Webb burst onto the scene last year as a Sophomore and earned all MWC Newcomer of the Year honors in route to a All MWC 2nd Team and All MWC Defensive Team season.

This past year, Webb III was again honored by the MWC as a member of the All-MWC 1st Team.

The new NCAA Draft rule allows Webb to test the NBA Draft waters, perform in camps, get feedback, and then make a well informed determination about his future at Boise State.
