Mesa CC Quarterback Rathen Ricedorff Commits To Boise State On Sunday

Boise State got the news they were hoping for on Sunday evening when Rathen Ricedorff tweeted out his commitment to the Broncos.

Boise State offered JC QB Rathen Ricedorff from Mesa Community College this past week. In a whirlwind courtship, Ricedorff visited Boise State this weekend and committed to the Broncos Sunday night.

Ricedorff, a former Arizona State Sundevil, had an outrageously successful Sophomore season at Mesa, with 4082 yds, 47 touchdown against 8 interceptions, for an average of 340 ypg and nearly 4TD passes per game.

He was the Mesa CC Team MVP. Fellow Boise State commit Isiah Moore was the Mesa CC Offensive MVP.

Ricedorff reportedly had offers from a number of schools, including fellow MWC foe New Mexico.

We hope to have more from Rathen shortly.
