3-star WR Commits To Broncos On Final Weekend Of Recruiting Season

Boise State went to Texas in search of a bigger, physical, make the tough catch and get the crucial first down type WR, and what they found was Octavius Evans who, somehow, was uncommitted and looking for the right school.

On Saturday afternoon, Bronco fans go the announcement that there was a new Bronco commit..

Then word trickled down that the new commit was a 'Big Get'.. meaning that it was either a big get physically, or a big talent. It turned out to be the latter.

It didn't take long for Octavius Evans to know he's found the right place, committing to Boise State on Saturday after being in Boise for just 24 hours.

Evans boasted a number of P5 offers, including teams from the SEC (Mississippi State), Big12 (Oklahoma State, Texas Tech), and Big10 (Indiana), as well as a number of G5 offers as well. Evans ended his Senior season with 66 receptions for 852 yards and 6TD's. His total high school numbers were outstanding, 254 receptions for 3200 yards, in total.
