Boise State fans who have been watching and waiting for the first commit of the Class of 2018 got their wish late Monday night when SS/LB Phillip Mills, (6'3 215lbs) committed to the Broncos.
Mills, projected to play OLB on the Blue, chose Boise State over a host of MWC Offers, as well as Washington State. As a Junior, he put up impressive numbers, putting up 57 tackles from his Safety spot, and adding an INT and blocked punt.
Although there has been no accompanying 'Go Broncos' from Coach Harsin as of 6am, a number of Asst. Coaches have retweeted Mills commitment, more than enough to confirm his pledge.
Now Mills, who lives in talent rich area between Los Angeles and San Diego, will turn his attention to recruiting for the Broncos...
That's 4-star WR Khalil Shakir in this tweet/response.. who himself also boasts a Boise State offer.
