Tailgating with the Broncos is out and ready to purchase!
The new cookbook from the Blue and Orange Club, Tailgating with the Broncos, has just been released. The book features nearly 200 mouth-watering recipes, with everything from Brats and Trimmings to Earthquake Cake from Lahaina. There is a fantastic recipe for mushrooms, marinated beef roast, mixed grill kabobs, Bronco Bob's Chorizo Chili, hot artichoke dip and more!
In addition, there are 5 recipes from Dan and Misti Hawkins as well as the exact menu that Central BBQ in Memphis featured at last year's Liberty Bowl! Coaches Chris Petersen, Chris Strausser, Ron Collins, Bryan Harsin, Sam Sandmire, Greg Randall, Greg Patton, Mike Maynard and Amy Christofferson all have recipes included in the book. There are recipes from media celebrities Paul J. Schneider, Tom Scott and Jeff Caves. Former Bronco greats Rolly Woolsey and Michel Bourgeau have their own recipes featured in the cookbook, along with Tammy Colledge and Becky Ansel (moms of great Bronco linemen Daryn Colledge and M.J. Ansel).
100% of the net proceeds go to the Summer Scholarship Fund at Boise State. You can also purchase the cookbook at the BAA Barbecue next Friday, August 12th beginning at 6 p.m. in the Jordan Ballroom in the Student Union Building, at the World's Largest Tailgate Friday August 19th, at the Boise State Wrestler's fundraising golf tournament August 28th or at any of the Bronco home football games this fall while supplies last.
